Who Looks Upon The Son And Believes
Pope John Paul II, tells us about the best and most effective way to grow in holiness. He states that: "our essential commitment in life is to grow spiritually in the climate of the Holy Eucharist." He goes on to explain: "Our communal worship at Mass, must go together with our personal worship of Jesus in Eucharistic Adoration, in order that our love may be complete," --- And this can be done by not only receiving Jesus Christ worthily in Holy Communion, but also by praying and adoring, and developing a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. As we spend more and more time with Jesus in Eucharistic Adoration, to make Jesus more and more the center of our life, we will grow in holiness, develop a deeper love for Jesus, be able to feel His love for us, and receive the strength and hope that we all need in our daily lives.
Pope John Paul II affirms in His encyclical on the relationship of the Eucharist to the Church, "... the gaze of the church is constantly turned to her Lord, present in the Sacrament of the Altar, in which she discovers the full manifestation of His boundless love. ...Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is ... an important daily practice and becomes an inexhaustible source of holiness. ... It is pleasant to spend time with Christ, to lie close to His breast like the Beloved Disciple, and feel the infinite love present in His heart."
Jesus Himself revealed the following to St. Margaret Mary. She was in prayer when He appeared to her from the Blessed Sacrament and said: "Behold this Heart which loves so much and, yet, is so little loved in return.... I thirst with such a terrible thirst to be loved by you in this Most Blessed Sacrament."

Nineteen weekly bulletin inserts were created and used during the development time of our own adoration program at our parish. They were used as part of a concerted effort to educate our parishioners on the importance and benefits of Eucharistic Adoration, including general theology about the Eucharist, such as the real presence of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist.
Each bulletin insert was compiled each week from quotes within various sources that are listed at the back of the booklet, and are about two-thirds of a normal bulletin column in length
These bulletin inserts can be used such as we did, after the development of two days of adoration, to help prepare parishioners for the expanding of adoration to Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration, or as a means of just strengthening the adoration program you currently have. (18 pgs)

The majority of this material was taken from the wonderful book entitled " Letters to a Brother Priest" co-authored by Rev. Fr. Vincent Martin Lucia of the Missionaries of the Blessed Sacrament and Rev. Msgr. Josefino Ramirez, who is Vicar General and Chancellor of the Archdiocese of Manila in the Philippines. Cardinal Sin, Archbishop of Manila, has made his diocese the most Eucharistic diocese in the world, with over 100 chapels of perpetual eucharistic adoration. He says: "This is a tribute to a clergy most faithful to the Blessed Sacrament". It also includes quotes from Cardinal Vidal, Archbishop of Cebu, in the Philippines, who is also working to bring about perpetual adoration in every one of his parishes.
This material is full of basic information and quotes as to why perpetual eucharistic adoration is so needed in the world today. It is comprised of inspirational letters written by Rev. Msgr. Ramirez to his brother priests and contains inspiring words for all of us relative to obtaining a greater appreciation of the power and love within the Blessed Sacrament.
